PRIVACY POLICY – GENERAL

Information notice pursuant to Art. 13 of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”)

In compliance with the provisions of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation) and of Legislative Decree 196/2003 (“Personal data protection code”) as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018, we provide you with the necessary information regarding the processing of personal data provided and is also inspired by the provisions of Directive 2002/58/EC, as updated by Directive 2009/136/EC, regarding Cookies, by the Provision of the Italian Data Protection Authority of 08.05.2014 regarding cookies and EDPB 05/2020 Guidelines on consent based on the GDPR , adopted on 04.05.2020. The information notice is not to be considered valid for other third party websites, possibly accessible through links on Data Controller’s websites, for which no responsibility is assumed. 

Processed personal data:

Personal data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person (C26, C27, C30 GDPR).

Browsing data 

During their ordinary course of operation, the IT systems and software procedures required to run this website acquire certain personal data, whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects but, by its very nature, it could enable identification of the users through the processing and matching of data held by third parties. This data category includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by the users who visit the site, as well as the URI addresses (Uniform Resource Identifier) of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file received in reply, the numerical code indicating the status of the reply from the server (done, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the operating system and the IT environment of the user.

Nature of Data provision 

Purpose A): the provision of personal data is optional. Failure to provide the necessary data will make it impossible to install certain categories of cookies on your browser and carry out marketing and profiling activities based on your preferences and interests.

Purpose B): the provision of personal data is optional. Failure to provide the necessary data marked with “*” will make it impossible to send your message and obtain the answer.

Purpose C): the provision of data is optional. Failure to provide it will result in the inability to receive commercial communications from the data controller.

Personal data recipients 

In order to comply with existing agreements or related purposes, your data will be processed by companies contractually engaged with NSK Dental Italy srl and in particular may be disclosed to third parties belonging to the following categories: 

– entities that provide services for the management of the information system and telecommunications networks;

 – freelancers, firms or companies in the context of assistance and consultancy relationships;

– third-party cookie suppliers; 

– platform managers for the services listed above (site hosting); 

– competent authorities for compliance with legal obligations and / or provisions of public bodies, upon request. 

The subjects belonging to the above mentioned categories perform the function of Data Processors, or act as autonomous Data Controllers. 

Data transfer to a third country and / or an international organization

In case of newsletter subscription the purpose C), the personal data provided will be transferred in the United States of America to the company “The Rocket Science Group” on the basis of signing the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) adopted by the European Commission on June 4, 2021 or to the company Google LLC. Data Subject’s right | Complaint to Italian Data Protection Authority

You may exercise your rights pursuant to artt. 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 of the GDPR, contacting the Data Controller at privacy@nsk-italy.it. 

You have the right, at any time, to ask where applicable: 

Art. 15 – Right of access: obtain confirmation that your personal data are holds and/or processes by the Data Controller, to access it in full, also by obtaining a copy;

Art. 16 – Right to rectification: the rectification or integration of your personal data in our possession, if inaccurate; 

Art. 17 – Right to erasure (‘right to be forgotten’): you may request that your personal data will be deleted, if they are no longer necessary for the purposes of the company or in excess of the purposes of this information notice.

Art. 18 – Right to restriction of processingyou may request the restriction of the processing of your personal data, when one of the conditions referred to in art. 18 of the GDPR;

Art. 19 – Notification obligation regarding rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing: you may request that, if there have been changes or deletions of your personal data, the “recipients” of the data in the information notice are also informed of these activities;

Art. 20 – Right to data portability: you may request to receive, in a clear and structured format, the personal data held by the Data Controller and you may transfer such personal data to another data controller without impediments;

Art. 21 – Right to object: you may request opposition to the processing of personal data, except if the Data Controller processes the personal data for binding legitimate grounds that prevail over the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject.

Withdrawal of consent: with reference to the purposes that require consent, you can withdraw the consent given at any time without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on consent before the revocation.

In the event that you believe that the processing of personal data carried out by the Data Controller is in violation of the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, you have the right to lodge a complaint to the Italian Data Protection Authority or to appeal the judge (https://www.garanteprivacy.it/) 

Changes to this privacy policy 

The Data Controller reserves the right to amend, update, supplement or remove parts of this Privacy Policy. For your convenience, when we post changes, we will revise the “last update” date of the Privacy Policy.
