• Place the tools made of different metals, separated beforehand, on different trays;
• If sterilizing tools made of a metal other than stainless steel, place a sterilization tissue between the tray and the tool so as to avoid direct contact between the two materials;
• Place cutting tools in a way that prevents them from coming into contact during the sterilization cycle, isolate them with gauze or a cotton cloth if necessary;
• Place vessels and containers (test tubes, cups, glasses, etc.) on the side or upside down to prevent water stagnation;
• Do not overfill a tray with more tools than it can fit;
• Arrange the tools at a sufficient distance and make sure they remain that way throughout the sterilization cycle.
• Place mobile tools, i.e. scissors, in the open position;
• Do not stack the trays or place them in direct contact with the chamber walls, always use the tray support provided;
• Always use the specific pliers provided to place into or remove the trays from the sterilization chamber

To access the Time and Date function, press SET while the device is ON. By pressing the SET button again, you can access specific functions whose parameters can be adjusted pressing and .

To view the total number of cycles performed by the sterilizer since it was installed, use the following button sequence making sure the device is ON:

• press SET;
• press TEST;
• keep button S134 pressed.
• Press CUSTOM to view aborted cycles. By subtracting the number of aborted cycles from the total number of cycles, you will get the number of actual (successful) cycles.
• Press SET to exit the procedure.

The purpose of the Helix Test and Bowie&Dick Test is to verify the perfect penetration of the sterilizing steam into the hollow parts of the tools (Helix Test) and into the porous material (Bowie&Dick Test) in the sterilization chamber.

The Helix Test and Bowie&Dick Test can be activated when the sterilizer is on. We recommend performing them at the start of the day, before starting the daily sterilization cycles, anyway they can be carried out at any moment when the sterilizer is on.

Prepare the sterilizer for a Helix Test or Bowie&Dick Test according to what requested by standards. While the machine is on, press TEST and START/STOP.
The device will automatically initiate the test programme, characterized by a temperature of 134°C, a sterilization time of 3.5 minutes and 3 vacuum phases.

If you have started a Helix Test or Bowie&Dick Test by mistake, you can interrupt it by pressing START/STOP. The device eliminates the test started by mistake, automatically starts an evacuation procedure of the liquids in circulation and places itself on stand-by, ready to be used for a normal work cycle

1. Close the water tap;
2. Disconnect the power supply module from the mains;
3. Turn off the sterilizer and wait for it to cool down;
4. Remove the feed pipe L-shaped fitting from the connector on the rear panel of DXP Purity;
5. Using the key provided with the sterilizer, remove the filter on the panel fitting (the filter is similar to those used on the sterilizer);
6. Wash the filter with running water;
7. Place the filter back into the fitting;
8. Reconnect the feed pipe;
9. Open the tap and check for leaks;
10. Reconnect the power supply module and turn on DXP Purity.

In order to preserve the properties of the equipment and avoid problems, we recommend reading the following indications carefully:

1. It is preferable to pack the instruments singularly.
2. Should you wish to pack multiple tools together, make sure you do not place tools made of different metals into the same pouch (dark spots may appear in correspondence of points of contact, caused by electrolysis)
3. We recommend using good-quality paper and propylene pouches. The paper part (more porous) must let the steam out. The NEWSEAL-05 pouch line is widely tested to give the best results when it comes to quality and durability.
4. When sterilizing packed tools, observe longer sterilization times to let the steam penetrate the pouches.
5. Pouches should be placed inside the autoclave with the paper side up, which makes it easier for the steam to get out during the drying phase. Anyway always follow the instructions provided by the autoclave manufacturer.

1. Connect DXP NewSeal to the 230 V/50÷60 Hz power supply via the power cable after checking the electrical requirements on the plate.
2. Press the rear power switch, an indicator light should turn on. The heating resistance requires approximately 2 minutes to reach the working temperature.
3. Place a sterilization roll on the specific support. If the model features roll holders, place the rolls on the specific holder and place it on the supports.
4. Pass the pouch under the roller placed behind the resistance block and let it slide until it goes beyond the resistance and appears on the front side.
5. Slide the pouch to cover the entire length of the tool.
6. To seal the pouch, pull the lever downwards until it blocks. This lowers the sealing block, which compresses the pouch against the resistance.
7. Do not exert force on the lever, the closing strength is not connected with the pressure on the lever.
8. Wait 4-6 seconds, the time necessary depends on the type of pouch.
9. We recommend cutting the pouch before releasing the lever. To cut the pouch, press the knob on the mobile sealing block and slide it along the cutter sliding track towards both the left and the right. Cut the pouch.
10. Bring the lever back to its original position to lift the sealing block and release the pouch. Bring the lever back to its original position.
11. To seal the opposite side of the pouch, thus blocking the tool inside its protective envelope, turn the pouch, place it below the sealing block and proceed again.

First of all, check that DXP NewSeal is connected to the mains.
Then check that the fuses are not damaged.
